ShiyaoStudio showcases the unique vision of visual and jewelry artist Shiyao Sun, blending expert silversmithing with bold material experimentation. Her silver pieces often feature unexpected elements like paper and textiles, creating a fresh and tactile experience. Fresh from her master’s in Jewelry Art at HDK-Valand, Shiyao brings new designs that explore the intimate connection between body and jewelry. For the book fair, she also introduces colourful and light paper jewelry and handmade paper goods crafted from daily paper waste, which offering a creative new approach to recycling and reuse the material.
