My Clay Journey
Alicia Samson is the woman behind @myclayjourney.
She creates ceramics out of clay, working mainly intuitively as she would like her own impulses to show in her work.
Being practical she needed to come up with a product to help fund her need to play creatively. That’s how her porcelain butter spreaders were born. The idea was to make a small and familiar, but aesthetically catchy item that would sell easily so that she could fund her overheads and allow her more opportunity to explore other ceramic forms.
Alicia hopes that her butter spreaders will attract you enough to buy it and share it because you as the buyer completes the cycle of her clay journey.
