The 3 Minute Portrait is an ink piece that nurtures a deeper engagement between the artist and her audience through a sustained, mutual gaze. The presence of mobile devices today offers fewer opportunities to make eye contact with strangers. This hopefully offers the chance for an extended moment of very human communication––eye contact––and the space to reflect on some of forgotten sensations.
