Håll i en workshop under marknaden på plats i Casinot!

I maj hade vi premiär för vår satsning med workshops på plats på marknaden. Och så roligt det var! Den här gången fortsätter vi med workshops och hoppas att fler vill vara med.

Tanken är att du som designers får chansen att visa upp och prata mer om ditt hantverk för att skapa ett intresse för det du gör. Har du funderat på att starta med workshops är detta ett fint tillfälle att testa det. Det är också en möjlighet för dig som bor i annan stad att ta med ditt workshop-koncept till Göteborg. Du kan välja att enbart ha workshops, att ställa ut en helg och ha workshop den andra helgen eller så kan du ha workshop när du medverkar som designer på marknaden och får då ha någon som hjälper dig vid ditt bord under workshop-timmarna.

Upplägget är enkelt. Vi kommer att ha bord utplacerade i lokalen som är 300 x 140 cm. Där får det plats ca 10 personer, beroende på hur mycket yta varje deltagare behöver för workshopen. Tiden är uppdelad i halvdagar;  fredag 15-19 samt lördag och söndag 11-14 och 14-17. Du kan välja ett pass eller flera. Exakta tider för din workshop bestämmer du själv. El, hink med vatten och städutrustning kommer att finnas, men du tar med allt material och de verktyg som behövs. Eld och öppna lågor är inte tillåtna.

Platsen kostar 1000 kr + moms per pass. Du tar sedan betalt av de medverkande och ansvarar för bokningar (eller om du vill ha drop-in). Vi berättar om din workshop i vår kanaler och gör vad vi kan för att lyfta vår satsning på workshops.

Workshops at the Casino

At the market in May, we premiered our new initiative: on-site workshops. And what a joy it was! This time around, we are continuing with the workshops and hope that even more of you will join.
The idea is to give you, as a designer, the chance to showcase and talk about your craft to build interest in what you do. If you have been thinking about starting workshops, this is a wonderful opportunity to test it out. It is also a great chance for those living in another city to bring your workshop concept to Gothenburg. You can choose to strictly host workshops, exhibit during one weekend and host a workshop the next, or host a workshop while participating as a designer at the market (in which case you must have someone assist you at your table during the workshop hours).
The setup is simple. We will have tables placed across the venue measuring 300 x 140 cm. These can accommodate about 10 people, depending on how much space each participant requires for the workshop. The time slots are divided into half-days: Friday 15:00–19:00, and Saturday and Sunday 11:00–14:00 and 14:00–17:00. You can choose one or several slots. You decide the exact times for your workshop yourself. Electricity, a bucket of water, and cleaning equipment will be provided, but you bring all the necessary materials and tools. Fire and open flames are not permitted.
The spot costs SEK 1,000 + VAT per slot. You then charge the participants directly and handle your own bookings (or opt for walk-ins). We will promote your workshop through our channels and do everything we can to highlight our workshop initiative.
