Gülbin makes unique small batch ceramics inspired of archeological and historical artefacts. But she also designs colourful multifunctional contemporary ceramics for different usage.
Her studio is located in Majorna, Göteborg, where creativity and projects slowly takes place and evolve with the motto “slow ceramics”.
Her work is interlaced through the ceramic techniques and the handcrafts perspective. What drives her through the workprocess is issues and problemising of subjects as cultural heritage, identity, diversity and migrations. She often use post colonial, intersectional feminism and standard critical perspective, which are the base of her work.
